The sooner you start working on your re-opening strategy, the readier you will be when everything returns back to normal.
Here are some ideas on what you could do to kickstart your return.
Update your business plan: Make it simple and effective, do not over complicate with lots of data and facts. Cut costs where possible and if it is appropriate for you, consider researching available loans and maybe even crowdfunding – The internet is always looking to help.
Be Loud: Once you have reopened, make sure everyone knows. Create a new email campaign, get active on social media, and remember to update your working hours, re-opening day, and possible new services offered (Click+Collect, delivery & vouchers). Find out what your clients are expecting, and work through it.
Safety First: Make sure your business is on top of all the new regulations and measures, especially after a health crisis – Social distancing measures will remain in place for some more time!
Professional advice: if you don’t already have one (or don’t think you have the right one) think about getting an accountant. They will be able to help you organise your cashflow and might be able to save you tax.
AIMS are available to offer help on the accounting side, please get in touch with your local accountant.
