We love a new government scheme to help small business and we have a new one for you today, recently launched by the government to help businesses have a better impact online.

Help to Grow Digital’s ‘Wave 1’ allows businesses to identify their digital technology needs, assess technology purchasing options and implement those technologies into their day-to-day life.

The three technologies offered now are Accounting, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and E-commerce. Three tools that could be really useful for many businesses.

The government has offered to pay for 50% off the price of technology packages in these categories. To qualify, your business has to employ more than 5 and less than 245 people, be registered at Companies House and have been trading for over a year. The government says the discounts will be available on packages that’ll help businesses:

• Build customer relationships and increase sales
• Make the most of selling online
• Manage their accounts and finances digitally
