We have just finished our #ShowSMEsomeLove campaign and the lucky winners are being contacted.

For us this was an opportunity to give something back to the small business community that we are not only a part of, but whose survival we rely on for our own.

We know things have been tough for our friends in the small business community over the past 12 months, we know that many businesses have, and continue to, struggle. We know that the support available has been fine for some but not for others, we know that some businesses have had to close their doors for good. But we also know that the small business community has a drive like no other, we have seen consumers doing all they can to support their local high street, people choosing to shop local where they can, even if it costs them more.

There was also something in this competition that we found amazing. We deliberately did not restrict winners from supporting their own small business (as long as it was capable of issuing a gift voucher), but not one did. They chose to support their friends and their communities. That’s why we are proud to be part of the small business community, after all, all AIMS accountants are small business owners too.

One of our winners was Ana Mijovic, who chose a voucher from Underground-England.com (A Music, Art and Subculture site) is an AIMS Accountants client of Kaysen Pyndiah. Ana mentions, “Having a chance to be one of the lucky winners definitely brightened up my day. Many thanks for the support to small businesses, I very much appreciate it. Also, my AIMS accountant is Kaysen Pyndiah, and I can’t say anything apart from good words about this wonderful person and fantastic accountant.”
